Anna Wilson, Writer
Anna Wilson is a successful professional writer who lives in Cornwall. She writes for adults and children. Her latest children's book is Shine Like the Stars. Her memoir A Place for Everything is about her mother's autism. Anna is an essay tutor at Exeter University in Penryn and a guest speaker at literary festivals. She takes a genuine interest in young people and their stories. She is keen to help them put their experiences, views and ideas into writing, and get them involved in the literary world in Cornwall.
Phil Ward, Painter
Phil Ward is an accomplished Artist who specialises in painting and is based in Cornwall. His years of experience in the art world and other related industries, coupled with a history of working with young people, enable him to have not only a perfect ability to support new artists, but also a great level of understanding of what it is to be young in Cornwall. We are looking forward to him providing support and passing on his knowledge to young local people.
Riverfish, Music studio
Riverfish is a succesful independent record label, music publisher and recording studio based in Penzance supporting many different artists. We are looking forward to Riverfish telling us about their success stories within the music business.
Emma McClure, Painter
Emma McClure is a successful, professional painter living in Cornwall. Emma studied at Falmouth School of Art. Her quirky and witty painting style is in collections around the world and is exhibited and sold in galleries in Cornwall, London and online. Emma has direct experience of living in Cornwall as a young adult and in making her way in the art world. We are looking forward to Emma sharing her skills and her story to inspire other young Cornish people who are interested in becoming part of the Cornish art scene.

Ben Cook is a multi-media artist that focuses his work on the social, political and environmental landscape of Cornwall. Ben is experienced when it comes to working with younger people. he has done several youth based art projects and his enthusiasm towards Become You is very promising. We look forward to having him on the team.
Annie Bungeroth,
Photographer, multimedia artist and trainer
Combining a passion for photography and visual storytelling with a desire to share that passion with as many people as possible, Annie has worked alongside young people around the world as well as in Cornwall! She has made films and photographed for many overseas development agencies. Annie has designed and facilitated short term and long-term photo workshops from grassroot to graduate level as well as mentoring individual photographers.
Alan Shepherd,
Poet and wood-burning artist
Alan Shepherd is a vital part of the community of Penzance and St Ives. He is a Director of Golowan Festival, Chair of Coast FM and The Acorn Theatre. In his spare time he is a performance poet and a wood-burning artist. He organises Music Nights in and out of Penzance, with his very popular weekly acoustic night at The Crown, in Penzance. We are excited to have Alan onboard and we believe that he will become a valued member of the team and we can’t wait to see what he as to offer to the youth of Penzance.

Screen Cornwall support talent development for film, TV, games & animation in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. They also work with Cornwall Council’s Culture Team and the Careers Hub on a creative careers programme.
